The Safer Schools Initiative
As communities, educators and students respond to a continuing cycle of violence in and near schools or involving students, there is an unmistakable need and growing call for a collaborative effort to address the broad range of issues that all play a role in school safety and in reducing incidents of violence affecting schools and the students they serve.
The Safer Schools Initiative was created to convene discussions and provide support across overlapping bodies of work:
State Government Work Groups
